Is this health insurance?

No, this is not health insurance. Our Ommpo plan only covers urgent care visits, unlike a typical health insurance plan which also covers annual exams and ongoing treatments.

Is there an annual maximum?

Yes, the Ultimate Plan includes an annual maximum of $5,000 in coverage per member for urgent care, emergency veterinary, and emergency dental expenses.

Do you offer medical services?

Ommpo does NOT offer medical services.  Ommpo simply provides cash reimbursement for our members’ urgent care emergency needs.

Can I select my own provider?

You can visit any licensed urgent care clinic that operates in your state. We encourage you to choose a provider that you trust and feel comfortable with.

Do you cover hospital visits or stays?

No, hospital visits or stays are not covered under the Ommpo membership.

Do you cover horses?

We only cover dogs, cats, fish, birds, small mammals (like rabbits and guinea pigs), and reptiles (including turtles and snakes).

Is there a waiting period?

Your plan starts the day your subscription is processed, and there is an initial 30-day waiting period before you can make a claim, giving you 11 months of coverage during the first year. Upon renewal/reactivation (if applicable), you will not be subject to a waiting period.

How does the plan work?

Ommpo operates on a reimbursement model, allowing you to visit any licensed veterinarian clinic of your choice within your state. Simply pay for your treatment upfront, then submit your receipts to us. Our claims team will review your submission and reimburse you for the eligible amount based on your plan.
