Acknowledgment and Acceptance of Terms
By subscribing to and using Ommpo Health, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to our Terms of Service. You also acknowledge that our Terms of Service may be updated periodically without prior notice. It is your responsibility to regularly review the terms for any changes. Continued use of Ommpo Health following such updates constitutes your acceptance of any revised terms.
Ommpo Health Pet Coverage Terms of Service
Ommpo Health offers affordable access to urgent and emergency care for pets, but certain expenses are considered ineligible for reimbursement. These Ineligible Expenses typically include:
1. Routine & Preventive Care
(Not covered unless directly related to an urgent or emergency situation.)
- Annual wellness exams
- Vaccinations
- Spaying or neutering
- Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention
- Routine dental cleanings (unless medically necessary due to an accident)
- Ear cleanings (including for wax buildup, yeast, or routine maintenance)
- Emergencies or urgent care events occurring more than twice within 12 months of the initial incident do not qualify as emergencies. Subsequent events will instead be treated as routine and preventive care, making associated services ineligible for coverage.
2. Pre-Existing Conditions
- Any condition present before enrollment or during the waiting period
- Chronic illnesses diagnosed before coverage
3. Elective & Non-Essential Procedures
- Cosmetic surgeries (e.g., ear cropping, tail docking)
- Declawing
- Microchipping
4. Non-Medical & Lifestyle Expenses
- Boarding, grooming, training
- Food, supplements, vitamins (unless prescribed for a covered illness)
- Behavioral therapy (unless directly related to a covered emergency)
5. Breeding & Pregnancy-Related Costs
- Breeding, whelping, or pregnancy care
- Fertility treatments
6. Non-Urgent Tests & Panels
(Unless required for an current and active emergency, these tests are not covered.)
- Thyroid panels
- Senior screens (geriatric wellness panels, routine lab work for aging pets)
- Any diagnostic panels or tests not directly linked to a current emergency
- Routine bloodwork or imaging for general monitoring
- Recurring diagnostic tests, screenings, or follow-ups not tied to an active emergency
7. Alternative or Experimental Therapies
- Acupuncture, chiropractic care, homeopathy (unless specifically covered under an add-on)
- Stem cell therapy or investigational treatments
